The Harwood Museum Alliance is a membership organization of the Harwood Museum of Art. When you join the Alliance, you become a member of the Museum. The Allaince is a separate 501 (c) (3) organization set up to receive membership dues and donations. With these funds, the Alliance is able to donate approximately $16,000 every year to the Harwood Museum of Art to be used as the Director deems necessary; to make funds available for membership-sponsored events; sponsor specific exhibitions, and contribute $5,000 each year toward a purchase of art for the museum. The Alliance board is made of members of the community who meet once a month to review and plan Alliance activities. The Alliance sponsors festive Member-Only exhibition openings, periodic fundraising events, and special cultural day trips to area museums. Alliance Circle $5,000
